About Löshá Farms
We chose farming later in life, brought several generations with us and discovered that a dream can be both exhausting and exactly right.
Keisha grew up in Arkansas. Logan grew up around farm life in Emmett, Idaho. Military service carried the family through Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico before the road finally led to Elk, Washington.
Keisha served 14 years on active duty and retired after 25 total years of government service, with a career spanning Air Force missions, human-resources leadership and technology recruiting. Logan served three years as an active-duty Air Force dentist and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Ohio.
Today Keisha is the full-time farmer and primary owner of Löshá Farms LLC, with Logan as husband, partner and co-owner. Her mother, a retired Air Force civil-service registered nurse, helps with farm life. Her father, a retired St. Francis County, Arkansas, judge, is enjoying retirement nearby. Their five grown sons remain part of the family story.
Farming is demanding, and much of its practical generational knowledge is disappearing. We want to learn from people who have done this longer, protect what has been entrusted to us and encourage others who feel called to begin. There is no perfect age. Sometimes you just step through the gate and start.
